Description
AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region (amino acids 177–191) of human growth hormone, with an added N-terminal tyrosine. Peptide Partners supplies AOD-9604 in 10mg vials for laboratory research into lipid-metabolism signaling, peptide stability and analytical detection.

Using mouse and human cell lines alongside mouse models including β3-adrenergic-receptor knockout mice, researchers measured β3-AR mRNA, protein and functional activity and acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity after exposure to AOD-9604 or full-length growth hormone.
Safety and Metabolism of AOD9604, a Novel Nutraceutical Ingredient for Improved Metabolic Health

This paper reports two in-vitro genotoxicity assays: a bacterial reverse-mutation (Ames) test with four Salmonella typhimurium strains and E. coli WP2 uvrA, and a chromosome-aberration assay in CHO cells with and without S-9 metabolic activation. No genotoxic activity was observed.
